Time Well Spent
If you haven't noticed, the blogging's slowing down to a trickle. My researched pieces take a lot of time to put together, time I don't have much of these days.
I was just re-elected for a short one-year-term (before re-districting) at the 3rd Congressional District (tasked with Voter ID), elected to the MNGOP State Central Committee (I love how that sounds so "red") and serving on a statewide candidate search committee. I'm waiting to see if any good conservative candidates stick their head out for EP School Board (so far none,) before investing any time on that important race....
Plus, I'm having more fun on Twitter. Brevity is the soul of wit they say and it's funny what you can get across in 140 characters.
Nick Coleman, Representative Ryan Winkler and Tom Horner have all been baited by my tweaks lately....keeps me entertained and takes so little thought (especially with the likes of those guys.)
I'll be on TAND with other "reporting" as needed....and yes-- I'll be covering the really important things, like the Royal Wedding.
All that being said, may I offer a bit of advice to the local DFL? Use your time more wisely on the serious issues of the day. Did you notice your candidates Kim Ross and Carol Bomben are ruining the Eden Prairie schools with their embrace of forced busing , love of "white privilege" diversity training, and flagrant efforts to keep decisions closed-closed-closed to the public? Snap them in line...that's what the party's for!
This is so embarrassing...it honestly hurts to watch it. But I'm a charitable person, so in the spirit of bipartisanship, let's send some folks your way.
People of Eden Prairie, this is YOUR DFL.
