Miss Bruni divulges that Mrs Obama replied when asked about her position as the U.S. president’s wife: ‘Don’t ask! It’s hell. I can’t stand it!’
Details of the private conversation, which took place at the White House during an official visit by Nicolas Sarkozy last March, emerged in Carla And The Ambitious, a book written in collaboration with Miss Bruni.
Hey, Michelle, tell it to Oprah. Don't sit and "gossip" with the wife of a foreign President (especially a French one.)
I'm sorry that your "job" is hell. Your job with 22-paid staffers, with glamorous clothing being thrown at you by every designer, with fawning interview after fawning interview with every women's magazine, with over-the-top vacations.....one after another. Hell?
Your job is to represent the best of our country and you represent the worst of it. Complaining, whining, and self-indulgent. The victim....always the victim and the media will eat it up. Poor Michelle.
If you don't like the lack-of-privacy (I wouldn't either) then maybe you should do what most Americans do....stay home.
